Records dusted off today:
Yes/Relayer
Probably one of their more obscure records but very interesting. It only has three songs. Gates of Delirium is one entire side (18 min.). The other two split side 2 at around 9 min each. Oh, those were the days. One memorable thing about this one is that I had a chip on the record for as long as I can remember. I don't know how it ever got there but I never knew the first minute of each side! Gotta love vinyl!
Queen's Greatest Hits
Yeah, we have it on CD but I like the sound on vinyl too.
Foghat Live
Anyone who was alive and alert in 1977 would definitely remember this one! A classic and one of the best live albums. That was the era when a lot of live albums got released and became very popular (Frampton Comes Alive, Kiss Alive, Deep Purple in Tokyo, Cheap Trick Live at Budokhan). One of the songs from this Foghat album did make it to Guitar Hero: Slow Ride (although I think it is the studio version - the live one is WAY better).
